Cruising by the river

We took the old main highway from Huntly, stopping at Taupiri for a cuppa with nephew Tim. Then on to Ngarawhahia and the start of the
Te Awa trail,
And what better thing to do on a hot sunny summer’s day. It’s gentle and very very pleasant, you don’t have to look at Hamilton if you don’t want to, and I thoroughly recommend it.
We both used heaps of power because we didn’t have far to go and it’s mostly flat and we’re old and it was time for a rest day.
