With the wind

The wind did a 180 and it was so nice to cruise and relax, waves on our right, beach wide enough that cars roar past 50m away, stopping every now and then to appreciate the view or chat to a fisherman, or just be there.
Ahipara feels sub-tropical, more like Rarotonga than New Zealand, and the camping ground was full of walkers and bikers from last night. We’re feeling like travellers already.
