Wood work, from whittling to carpentry, has long been a hobby of mine, with no training or skills except a child-like faith in my abilities. A few years ago I joined the local woodturners guild, was shown more than a few tricks of the trade, and started to make round brown things. I’ve been lucky enough to have won a few awards in the 2023 , 2024 , and 2025 Art of Wood Exhibition.
